Braised Pork Belly

Ingredients:

500g pork belly

3 tablespoon light soy sauce

3 slices of ginger

6 tablespoon cooking wine

3 tablespoon white sugar

Directions:

  1. Cut the pork belly into small chunks then add in Ropot with 3 cups of cold water; press the “Function” key to select “Stew” and press “-” to reduce the cooking time to 6 minutes (Or until the water is boiled);
  2. Discard the water, close the lid and press the “Function” key to select “Sauté”, then press “+” key to add extra 5 minutes or add more cooking time as needed;
  3. Melt the white sugar with a little boiled water, pour into Ropot and add soy source, ginger, cooking wine and sugar,
  4. Close the lid and press the “Function” key to select “Braise”.
