Braised Spare Ribs
500g spare ribs / 3 table spoons of light soy sauce / 3 slices of ginger / 6 table spoons of cooking wine / 3 table spoons of white sugar
1. Cut spare ribs, quick boil in cold water pot, press the “Function” key to select “Stew” and press “-“ key to decrease the time to 6-7 minutes (just until the water is boiled); hot water is OK if available.
2. Discard the water, close the lid and press the “Function” key to select “Sauté”, then press “+” key to increase the time to 5 minutes;
3. Melt the white sugar with a little boiled water, pour into the pot and add prepared seasoning;
4. Close the lid and press the “Function” key to select “Braise”.
